Daniel has over 20 years planning experience across a broad spectrum of resource management processes, from the preparation of comprehensive resource consent applications and private plan change requests, through to the coordination and preparation of strategic planning evaluations and expert planning evidence. Daniel regularly undertakes project work across New Zealand and has a strong work ethic and dedication to success. His approach towards all relationships is straightforward and collaborative, maintained through prompt and precise communication, and enhanced through his client-centric solution focus.

Anita has over 19 years’ planning experience, having worked for regional and central government authorities in resource consent processing and project management. Anita is experienced in all facets of district and regional resource consent planning and processing, including appearing as an expert witness for consent applicants, submitters and local authorities. Anita’s approach is helpful and precise, maintained through prompt and clear communication, and enhanced by her meticulous and direct style.

Sam has over 10 years of experience, having worked in Auckland and North Canterbury for local government authorities in resource consent processing and project management. She has particular experience in subdivision, land use and large commercial projects whilst also providing evidence in a number of hearing processes and processing plan changes. Sam’s approach towards all relationships is clear, collaborative, precise and proactive enhanced through a solution focused approach for the client.

Melanie has over two decades of planning experience, with a diverse background that spans both New Zealand and the United Kingdom in both local authorities and consultancies. Melanie has established successful track record in statutory land use planning, resource consents, environmental impact assessment, district plan administration, policy formulation and preparation and presentation of expert evidence. In the last 10 years Melanie has developed strong experience as a planning/RMA project manager, having had leadership roles in large scale capital development projects leading teams of experts in complex planning environments. Melanie’s approach is proactive focussing on positive outcomes for every project through clear and prompt communication, attention to detail, and a solution focussed approach for clients.

Amy brings over twenty years of planning experience, with a diverse background spanning policy development, consent planning and project management at both regional and district government levels, as well as in the private sector in New Zealand and the UK. More recently, she has focussed on the Queenstown Lakes District, primarily assisting private sector clients with the preparation and progression of resource consent applications across a range of activities and complexities. Amy is known for her efficient and inclusive approach, as well as her clear and transparent communication style.

Jess brings over 14 years of planning experience across both local government and the private sector. She has a strong background in regional consenting and is skilled at navigating planning processes. Jess values building strong, collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, and is focused on delivering practical, positive outcomes for every project she supports.

Vish has over 20 years’ experience in development applications, subdivisions, discharge permits, and strategic planning, including business cases, designations, and zone changes. He has worked in government and consulting across New Zealand and internationally, managing urban and rural projects. Skilled in policy, investment planning, and stakeholder engagement, Vish delivers successful outcomes by balancing competing interests and navigating statutory, strategic, and reputational risks.

Robert has over 10 years planning experience having worked for consultancies, local government, and in-house for infrastructure providers. His attention to detail and project management experience delivers positive project outcomes. He is experienced in stakeholder and community engagement and values building strong, collaborative relationships.

Jorja is a planning professional with over six years of experience in the resource management and planning sector, spanning both public and private. She has worked on a wide range of resource consent applications, with particular expertise in regional consenting and the rural sector. Jorja is known for her practical, solutions-focused approach and her ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner.

Georgie has five years’ experience in planning, with a background in both policy and resource consenting at a District Council level. She values building positive relationships with clients and is passionate about delivering high-quality, practical planning outcomes that enhance places for the people who use them.

Dalice joined Town Planning Group in 2022 bringing her experience in Marketing within the Tourism and Leisure Industries, to support the team in the day-to-day operations.  She is currently studying towards her PGDipGrad in Planning to further her studies.

Paula manages all administration, financial, marketing and management aspects of Town Planning Group. She is often the first point of contact for clients, and is friendly, approachable, and an excellent communicator assisting the team and our projects to operate efficiently and effectively.
